Heat  Exhaustion


  • Headache

  • Nausea

  • Dizziness

  • Weakness

  • Irritability

  • Thirst

  • Heavy sweating

  • Elevated body temperature

  • Decreased urine output


  • Confusion, altered mental status, slurred speech

  • Loss of consciousness (coma)

  • Hot, dry skin or profuse sweating

  • Seizures

  • Very high body temperature

Heat  Stroke


  • Painful, warm skin

  • Blisters on skin

  • Red in color on lighter skin

  • Subtle violet or brown on darker skin

The community offers a variety of programs for persons with disabilities. CICIL assists individuals in meeting their needs by providing current information and referrals to appropriate agencies and organizations in the community. This information is available to individuals and service providers who wish to gain more information on a broad spectrum of disability issues.
